Bordermath computes visa & tax day-counts. We collect the minimum: country + entry/exit dates + which passport (a label). We never ask for passport numbers or images.
By default your trips are stored on your device (browser localStorage); the knowledge brain runs in-browser (zero-egress). If you sign in for the forwarding inbox, your email + travel dates are stored in our account store (Vercel KV, US region) so they sync — passport numbers/images are never stored.
Access, export (CSV in-app), and erasure ("Delete my account data" in-app, or email us). Retention: while your account is active. Email/storage providers act as processors under a DPA. [Counsel to finalize transfer mechanism, RoPA, retention periods.]
